2025 marked a significant period of growth for Optima Electrical Training. We were pleased to open our new training centre in Taunton, strengthening our presence in the South West and allowing us to support even more learners across the region.
We also launched our Pathway to Placement programme, designed to help learners move from training into real employment opportunities by bridging the gap between qualifications and the workplace. This initiative has already proven particularly valuable for those completing their NVQ portfolios.

Throughout the year, we shared regular updates on developments within the electrical sector, including infrastructure investment, increasing demand for qualified electricians, and changes to qualification pathways. These trends continue to highlight the strong long-term prospects available to those starting or progressing a career in electrical installation.
