How We Support Learners in Finding Work
At OPTIMA, we support our learners in achieving their career goals through a range of dedicated services. These include, but are not limited to:
CV & Portfolio Development
We help learners build strong, industry-ready CVs and assist with organising a clear and professional NVQ portfolio.
Interview Preparation
Coaching on interview techniques, confidence-building, and how to present skills and experience effectively to employers.
Introductions to Industry Partners
We connect learners with companies in our partner network that regularly look for new talent or extra hands on real projects.
Guidance on Where to Find Work
Advice on trusted job boards, trade platforms, local opportunities, and where to look for electrical roles or work experience.
Support with Job Applications
Help completing application forms, writing cover letters, and positioning skills in the best possible way.
Access to Work Experience Opportunities
When opportunities arise through our network, we match suitable learners to short-term or ongoing work experience roles.
